Stead Family!!!

How cute is this family???!! We had some fun playing in the woods and of course, a spur-of-the-moment tickle session! Seriously, these kids need to get into modeling! Those eyes!

Baby Lyla and family

I was lucky enough to photograph Nick and Erin's maternity session a few months ago. Only a short week later did baby Lyla arrive! I was even luckier to be able to document this beautiful baby girl at 13 weeks. Her grandma Marti and Aunt Abby came from out of town to visit and we had some fun!! To be honest, I surprised myself with how amazing these images turned out - - I've only photographed one other infant before, my son, and he didn't behave quite this well. Infant photography is tough and I've had very little practice. Well, well, well, I must say this baby girl was perfect during the shoot!! I even got a little choked up editing these priceless portraits. Nick, Erin, Abby, and Marti: Thank you so much AGAIN for trusting me to photograph your lovely little girl. Enjoy!

Sarah & Drew: Engaged!!!

Meet: Sarah and Drew...my new favorite couple. F'reals! I had so much fun with this couple, I forgot we were even on a photo shoot. They are so freaking (eehrm, can I say freaking on a blog?) cool! Sarah is - wait for it...wait for it - - a stingray keeper at the zoo!! Yep. Seriously. And, Drew is a manager of a Starbucks; and you know I love me an iced-grande-no whip-cinnamon-dolce-latte, so clearly it was a match made in heaven. :) :) We traveled around downtown Mesa, laughing, telling stories, and making fun of ourselves. They are my kind of couple - real and F-U-N. Check out the lovely, soon-to-be, Mr. and Mrs. Ekstrom!!!

Baby Ethan & Family!!!

Ethan is a month younger than my little one and he is extremely active; I had a hard time keeping up with him!!! He's crawling, almost walking and wants to move, move, move. His brown doughy eyes will melt your heart and his personality is even more amazing. Our session happened to be on Robert & Carolina's five year anniversary so we celebrated with a few flirty poses. They rocked it! I don't think I've ever seen lighting this good! Robert and Carolina, your family is so beautiful! Keep making babies because ya'll are good at it! :)
