The Bladt Family

This family session was so special! Obviously this is one of my favorite locations, I love anywhere that doesn't feel like typical AZ. But more importantly, I loved being able to photograph my high school friend, Michelle, her husband Travis, and their adorable son, Gavin. Michelle and Travis met in HS and we approved of him, so they got married. ;) Michelle and I spent all of HS together. Once, we even lived together when Michelle's parents had to travel to Singapore for work. We were literally attached at the hip. Every weekend consisted of a trip to Wal-mart with a disposable camera in hand (remember those?), roaming the aisles looking for something ridiculous to get ourselves into. Maybe that's where my love of photography started?

Michelle, your family is beautiful! Gavin is such a well-mannered little man. He was a blast to photograph!

Sarah + her boys

This is my beautiful cousin Sarah and her adorable boys, Xander and Gavin. I love getting this family in front of my camera. I've blogged about Sarah a few times. She is a real-life Wonder Woman. She works full time, runs a household, raises two incredibly polite boys... all while losing 100 pounds! Seriously, Sarah. You are incredible!

My Favorite Moments from 2013!

As 2013 is nearing the end, I wanted look back and share some of my favorite moments from this year. I am incredibly thankful for each returning client, as I love being able to catch up with you and watch your children grow. I am also grateful for my new clients and their trust in me. I love what I do and hope I can continue to grow.

 My goal for 2014 is photograph more weddings, engagements and senior portrait sessions, as I have learned this is where my passion lies. :)

Our Family - 2013

What a year! We are so blessed... We have such a supportive family, jobs, a warm house to sleep in every night, and this guy:

Cruz Jameson, you melt my heart every morning and every night. You wake-up bright-eyed, just like your Dad. "Good Morning Mama!" I couldn't imagine starting my day any different. Your personality is contagious. I love every ounce of you. I am the luckiest Mama in the world.

 I met this cute guy in my high school Chemistry class...he married me...now he is the most amazing Dad to Cruz. :)

This is my Uncle Brian, Aunt Brenda and their three blondies - Connor, Aidan & Kaitlin. I used to take their photos when I worked at Sears Portrait Studio in high school. Long gone are the days of baby blue pull-down backgrounds and fake Christmas gift box props. (Thank goodness) It was nice to spend some time with these guys updating their family photos. See you on Christmas day!
